Xavius Michael Smith (born March 10, 2002), known professionally as Gensowise, is an American rapper. He took the scene in the year 2017 releasing hit songs like “Hereditary“ that took online by storm and over social media. He is also the Founder and Creative Director for New Gen Music & NGM Studios located in San Antonio, TX. In late 2018 he disappeared from the internet and social media to later release the track “Forgive You“ with hit artist ( Kish )

Early Life[]

Xavius Michael Smith was born on March 10, 2002 in Live Oak, TX part of the San Antonio Metropolitan Statistical Area. He was raised by his mother Crystal Smith and grandparents in a single family home. He graduated from an early learning academy for mathematics and credit recovery Judson Learning Academy (JLA). Smith's early years were shaped by the supportive environment of his mother and grandparents in a close-knit family setting. Growing up in the southeastern region of San Antonio, he developed a passion for music at a young age, drawn to music production and hip-hop.

Career[]

Smith uploaded his first song on Soundcloud on Jul 5th, 2018 titled "My Life Story" when he created the idea for a independent creative group NGM (New Gen Music) after meeting artist Damian Martinez.

Smith's artistic journey began to take shape when he uploaded his

debut track, "My Life Story," to Soundcloud on July 5th, 2018.

This marked the start, laying the groundwork for the formation of NGM (New Gen Music), an independent collective, Inspired by fellow artist Damian Martinez, Smith envisioned NGM as a platform for creating artistic expression and collaboration within the hip-hop community.
